This site is about people's sizes, and accepting and affirming people as they are. Women in many cultures face more size prejudice than men do. This can be seen by percentages of people who have eating disorders (the majority are women), and by media reinforcement (the media shows fewer women than men, who don't fit "ideal" standards).
However, I think it would be wrong to focus solely on size prejudice's affect on women. So, I will focus on the acceptance of people in general.
